Nazara Course
Before students are eligible for acceptance into the Hifz course at Bilal Tembisa Islamic Centre, they are required to either enrol in the Nazara course or have completed the Nazara course at another accredited Islamic institute. The Nazara course serves as a foundational step towards Quranic memorisation.
In the Nazara course, students embark on a journey to learn the fundamentals of the Arabic alphabet, ensuring accurate pronunciation. This initial phase is crucial, as it lays the groundwork for further study. The course then progresses to a comprehensive study of the principles of intonation, known as tajweed. Mastery of tajweed is essential, as it aids in the correct and swift memorization of the Qur’an.
By the conclusion of the Nazara course, students have achieved proficiency in the correct textual recitation of the Qur’an with tajweed. They have successfully read through the entire Qur’an multiple times with fluency, marking a significant milestone in their Quranic education. This thorough preparation sets the stage for their advancement into the esteemed Hifz course.
